Rooftop bars in Cyprus with hours, dress codes and booking tips: cocktails above Limassol, a late rooftop in Nicosia and brunch with a view in Larnaca.

A rooftop is the easiest way to see a Cyprus city from above, whether that means old-town domes, the marina or the sea. Here are rooftop bars we've checked against each venue's own website for opening hours, booking and dress codes, where the venue publishes them. Two summer-only rooftops in Larnaca and Ayia Napa are at the end.
Limassol
22B Roof Bar: cocktails in the centre
22B Roof Bar is at 22B Eleftherias Street, in the middle of town and an easy walk from the old town's bars and restaurants. It's a cocktail-focused rooftop: come for one or two drinks before dinner, or stay on afterwards. The venue asks guests to call to reserve, and we'd do that for any Friday or Saturday. Its website doesn't publish opening days or hours, so ring ahead to check it's open the night you're going.
The Rooftop Bar at AMARA: dressed-up sunset drinks
On level 8 of the AMARA hotel in Limassol, The Rooftop Bar is the smartest option on this list. It serves cocktails and tapas with lounge music, and the hotel suggests coming at dusk for the sunset. Practical details from the hotel:
- Open: Wednesday–Sunday 18:00–01:00 (closed Monday and Tuesday); last food order 22:30, last drinks 00:30
- Booking: recommended (about 70 seats)
- Dress code: smart casual. No distressed jeans, sleeveless shirts, flip-flops or swimwear
- Age: no children under 16
- Smoking: allowed
This bar isn't listed on InviteM yet, so book directly with the hotel.
Nicosia
Seline Rooftop: late nights in the capital
Seline is on Omirou 3 in central Nicosia, up on the fifth floor. It's an evening venue, open Sunday to Thursday 19:00–01:00 and Friday to Saturday 19:00–01:30, which makes it a good last stop after dinner in town. It's listed on InviteM as a restaurant, so expect food as well as drinks. To book a table, call the number on its website (+357 94 000600); we'd do that for weekend nights.
Larnaca
Memories Rooftop: brunch by day, entrecôte by night
Memories is on top of the Rise Urban Art Hotel in central Larnaca and works in two shifts. By day it serves brunch (11:00–15:00), and by night it becomes L'Entrecôte by Memories (19:00–00:00), built around a signature entrecôte sauce, steak and fries, with French desserts. It's open Wednesday to Monday and closed on Tuesday, and the venue says it opens all year round. That makes it one of the few rooftops worth planning a winter brunch around. Reservations are by phone or WhatsApp.
Summer rooftops: Larnaca and Ayia Napa
These two are seasonal, so they're for your summer list rather than a winter night out.
Helicon: the 9 Muses Hotel's rooftop bar, Larnaca
Helicon is the rooftop bar of the 9 Muses Hotel on Kosma Lysioti Street in central Larnaca. The hotel describes it as a contemporary rooftop for cocktails and appetisers at dusk, with relaxed music. It runs as a seasonal bar, so check its Facebook page or call the hotel to see whether it's open before you go.
Napa View Sky Lounge: pool by day, rooftop bar by night, Ayia Napa
On top of Hotel Napa Suites on Dimokratias Street, Napa View Sky Lounge has an infinity pool and a panoramic Jacuzzi. It works as a pool lounge 11:00–19:00 and a rooftop bar 19:00–23:00, with cocktails and a pool snacks menu of sushi, poke bowls, salads, burgers and souvlaki. Non-residents are welcome, and private cabanas can be booked as packages. It's a summer venue, so check the hotel's site for season dates.
Which rooftop for which occasion
- A dressed-up sunset date: The Rooftop Bar at AMARA in Limassol. Come at dusk for cocktails and tapas, and book ahead because seats are limited.
- Cocktails before dinner in Limassol's centre: 22B Roof Bar on Eleftherias Street, a short walk from the old town's restaurants.
- A late drink in Nicosia: Seline stays open until 01:30 on Fridays and Saturdays, later than most dinner spots, so it works as the last stop of the night.
- A winter weekend brunch: Memories in Larnaca serves brunch from 11:00 and says it opens all year, so it's a rare rooftop plan for a sunny January morning.
- A night that doesn't end early: pair a rooftop with one of the island's club nights. InviteM's weekly What's on guide lists the coming weekend's line-ups.
Rooftops in the cooler months
Rooftop season isn't only summer in Cyprus. Memories in Larnaca says outright that it stays open all year. What changes in the cooler months is the timing. The sun sets earlier, evenings cool off quickly, and some terraces adjust their days or hours outside summer. Before you go in autumn or winter, check three things on the venue's own site or by phone: that it's open that day, whether the terrace or an indoor area is in use, and the last order time. AMARA, for example, takes last food orders at 22:30.
Tips for rooftop bars in Cyprus
Time it for sunset, and check the day
The best moment on any rooftop is the half hour around sunset, which comes much earlier in winter than in summer. Several rooftops close one or two days a week: AMARA closes Monday and Tuesday, and Memories closes Tuesday. Check the day before you plan around a sunset drink.
Book on weekends
Rooftops are small by nature. AMARA has about 70 seats, and the best tables at the edge go first. Phone ahead for Friday and Saturday evenings, especially for groups.
Dress for the venue and the weather
Hotel rooftops tend to have dress codes. AMARA spells out smart casual and turns away flip-flops and swimwear. Even in mild months, rooftops get breezy after dark, so bring a layer from October onwards.
Getting there and back
City-centre rooftops like 22B, Seline and Memories are walkable from the old town in Limassol, Nicosia and Larnaca. If you're drinking, leave the car and plan a taxi home.
Make a night of it
Pair a rooftop with dinner nearby. Start with drinks at sunset and move on to a table in the old town. Browse InviteM's restaurants in Limassol, Nicosia and Larnaca to book the second half of your evening.
